You certainly dont need to read the other books in this series to enjoy Newman and Hope's story, but you will definitely want more after reading this treat! This is my honest review of a voluntarily read ARC.I’m a Windows power user - here are the shortcuts I use the most She cant fight the electricity that zaps between her and Newman though, but can the earth saving social outcast trust the the pretty boy all star to be her forever? Never having felt part of their small community's "crowd" she doesnt trust when the group bands together to help her. Hope is dealing with a massive blow to her career and personal reputation when Newman reenters her life and tries to take charge to fix things. She, on the other hand, keeps running away and refusing his help whenever possible. Rescuing her he quickly learns that grown up Hope is an addiction he cant easily kick. Hope, drunk and dancing on a chair is a sight he never would have paired with the socially awkward conservationist. When he sees Hope, his old nemisis and verbal sparring partner, he can't believe his eyes. Paul Newman makes his namesake proud, he's a blonde pretty boy who goes out of his way to help anyone and everyone in his life. I absolutely loved Paul Newman and Hope Lawrence! From the first chapter to the last page this book had me entralled with their banter, family situations, personal demons, and undeniable chemistry! Meet the real authority in town, the local book club, and maybe ask Willow to draw you a memento! Swim in the ice cold lake, then warm up with a coffee and mystery muffin at The Hoot Café. If you enjoy your small town romance sizzling with a side of crazy then Lake Howling is for you.

Down on her luck, she challenges him at every turn, but when trouble follows her to Howling, he finds himself determined to help her, only to discover it’s him who needs rescuing! They do say opposites attract. Maybe when he’s back in Lake Howling he lets down his guard and his personal hygiene slips, but there is absolutely no need for Hope Lawrence to take shots at him because she dresses che dumpster. His sheets have a thread count between 1400-1500, and his spreadsheets are always on point. Paul Theodore Newman likes his life to run smoothly.
